School of Motion Cinema 4D Basecamp Collection
In the summer of 2019 I chose to take the C4D Basecamp course at School of Motion due to my lack of experience in 3D. It was a three month online course I took while working full time. This class was one of the best decisions I've made because now I feel comfortable in C4D. The classes helped me in several different aspects, designing for 3D, modeling, lighting, texturing, animation, and compositing. I learned a great deal in this class and plan to take more 3D animation courses as they are created.
Hustle and Bustle
I was tasked with creating an animation using the cloner tools, the mograph effectors, and fields.
I modeled, textured, lit, and animated in Cinema 4D and used Boombox for the sound effects and After Effects for the edit. This took two weeks while working full time.
FAVORITE PLACE
For this assignment, I was tasked with modelling my favorite place. I chose my grandparent's trailer in their backyard because of all the fond memories I'd have staying there whenever I visited family.
This was modeled, textured, lit, and animated in Cinema 4D. It was edited in After Effects and the sound effects were from Boombox. This was created in a week while working full time.

LIGHTING EXPLORATION
We were provided a model with a simple gray texture and tasked with giving it different moods just with the lighting. The first one on the left was Sci-Fi, the second in the middle was Film Noir, and the third on the right was an experiment where I played around with lighting and texturing.
